Meet Cory Black, who grew up in this business and runs it today.
Hi, I’m Cory Black.
I’m the owner of All About Blinds & Shutters, and I’ve been around this business pretty much my entire life. I started working alongside my dad when I was just 12 years old, helping with installations, and over the past 20-plus years I’ve gone from doing the installs to owning and running the business.
Having spent so many years installing blinds and shutters myself, I know what a finished project should look like and what it takes to get it right. I’ve seen just about every type of project you can imagine, and I bring that experience to every customer.

Carrying on what my dad started.
My dad started All About Blinds & Shutters in 1990 with a simple idea: people should be able to see how a window covering looks in their own home, in their own light, before they buy it. So instead of opening a showroom, he put the showroom in his truck, and that is still how we work today.
These days, I’m proud to carry on what he started while building something for my own family. I’m married with three kids, and keeping this a small, local, family-owned business is really important to me.
